Description of a vacancy

Our client is an international oil trading group with 10+ years of successful operations across Europe and the United States. The company delivers integrated trading, logistics, and financial solutions for global energy market participants and supplies energy resources to large corporate partners and clients.

We are currently looking for a hands-on Accountant to join the finance team and support multi-jurisdictional trading operations.

Requirements:

University Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics;
2+ years of experience in a similar role within an audit firm or trading company;
Strong knowledge of accounting processes, financial reporting, and period closing;
Confident English (Intermediate+), including readiness for interview in English;
Detail-oriented, structured, and comfortable working in a fast-paced international environment.

Responsibilities:

Manage full-cycle accounting for trading entities within the Group (USA & Europe);
Issue and process invoices (trading and operational);
Post cash transactions and perform bank reconciliations;
Monitor and control accounts receivable and payable;
Reconcile accounting records with trading systems and operational data;
Maintain accounting for smaller holding entities within the Group;
Support monthly closing activities and financial reporting processes;
Contribute to preparation of management reporting (Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss).
