Description of a vacancy

Our client, a rapidly growing Ukrainian supermarket chain, is expanding its network and looking for an experienced Regional Manager to oversee its retail operations in the Poltava region.

Requirements:
  • University degree in Management, Economics, Business Administration or a related field;
  • At least 5 years of experience in grocery retail;
  • Proven track record of successfully managing a multi-store retail network, with responsibility for 3 or more stores;
  • Strong understanding of modern grocery retail operations and business processes;
  • Valid Category B driver's license and access to a personal vehicle;
  • Confident PC user;
  • Strong leadership and people-management skills, analytical mindset, high level of responsibility and a strong results-oriented approach.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the supermarket network within the assigned region;
  • Ensure achievement of sales, profitability and key KPI targets;
  • Lead, develop and evaluate Store Managers, ensuring strong team performance and effective people management;
  • Monitor customer service standards, inventory levels, shrinkage and stocktaking results;
  • Analyze key operational and financial performance indicators and implement initiatives to improve store efficiency and profitability;
  • Support the opening of new stores, ensuring operational readiness and compliance with company standards;
  • Ensure consistent implementation of corporate standards, policies and internal business processes across all stores in the region.
