How to fill out a resume?
CV is the first step in a process of searching for a job. It is the first thing that represents you in the eyes of a recruiter. Thus, a resume directly influences your success in obtaining a desired position.
Here, we provide you with a competent resume format for a job search on the territory of Ukraine.
Your perfect CV must contain four parts.
1. Personal information and contact details.
Indicate your Name and Surname, Telephone number, Email and your Location. Also, you can indicate other personal details and your social pages.

Indicate all relevant working experience. Starting from the last position, write:
- work period
- name and scope of an organization
- your position
- main responsibilities
- area of responsibility
Also, highlight your main achievements and results in the described position.

Distribution of auto parts for passenger cars in Ukraine.
Position: Purchasing Manager
Responsibilities:
- Searching for suppliers in USA and negotiating
- Organization of delivery of auto parts to Ukraine

Achievements:
The volume of deliveries of products increased by 35%, the assortment has been expanded by 12%. This led to an increase in sales by 30%. Practice using English, developing negotiation skills.
Reason for dismissal:
moving to Kyiv
3. Education
Specify:
- full name of your institution
- city/town
- period of study
- form of study
- speciality
- profession
In case you have studied in several institutions, indicate them in reverse order. Here, also, specify completed seminars and trainings.
2007 — 2013
Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. Faculty of International Relations. The form of study - stationary. Master degree. Diploma with honors.
4. Additional information: professional, practical and personal qualities and skills.
In this part, please, specify:
- knowledge of computer programs
- knowledge of foreign languages
- availability of a driver's license
- hobbies and interests
Foreign languages:
- English - B2
- German - В2
Attainments of PC:
- MS Office, SAP, 1C.8.
Driver’s license:
- “B” category. Experience of 10 years.
Personal qualities:
- high communication skills, result oriented person, high negotiation skill, team-work player.
Hobbies:
- Interested in learning foreign languages and travelling.
References
At the end, be sure to add contacts of people that can give recommendations. Such as: Name and Surname of your direct chief and telephone number or email. References are always beneficial to your CV.
Basic requirements for creating a modern resume
Create your CV in a text editor, like Microsoft Word. Then, convert it to a pdf format. In this case, your resume will have a professional look on any device. Also, try to shorten your CV up to two pages. Be clear, constructive, concise. Leave details for your interview :)
