Our client, a rapidly growing Ukrainian supermarket chain, is looking for an experienced Category Manager – Non-Food to join its team.

Description of a vacancy
Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop assigned non-food categories, including household chemicals, home care products, pet food and seasonal goods;
- Build and optimize the assortment matrix and develop category strategies aligned with business objectives;
- Manage supplier relationships, including commercial negotiations, partnership development and portfolio optimization;
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitors and pricing strategies to identify growth opportunities;
- Analyze key category performance indicators, including ABC analysis, stock turnover and slow-/non-moving products, and implement initiatives to improve category profitability and efficiency;
- Plan, coordinate and manage category activities to achieve sales, profitability and other business targets.
Requirements:
- University degree;
- At least 2 years of experience in Non-Food Category Management;
- Experience in retail or B2C is a strong advantage;
- Confident user of MS Office and other PC applications; experience with 1C is required;
- Good understanding of pricing principles and commercial analytics;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with large volumes of data;
- Fast learner with a proactive approach to professional development;
- Result-oriented, responsible and goal-driven, with strong execution skills.

- During the onboarding period, business trips to Kharkiv will be required to gain an in-depth understanding of the stores and key business processes;
